How Sonderbeaut Works and What Makes it Special

Why Was Sonderbeaut Created?

Sonderbeaut was created out of pure necessity. As the founder of Sonderbeaut, I wanted to create a platform that I’ve been seeking basically my whole life! A platform I know through my aesthetics experience that many of my patients would use on a daily basis. Sonderbeaut is that space for consolidated beauty and wellness reviews. I found it difficult to try to find reviews on youtube especially for my skin tone (very few results there) then hop on sites like sephora and amazon and filter through the sponsored reviews. It was way to much work and research to end up with 2 viable, trustworthy reviews. Sonderbeaut will end the scavenger hunt.

On Sonderbeaut, you will be able to filter aesthetic and wellness reviews by several pertinent characteristics which can widely affect results. Want to try out an IPL?! A quick browse through our reviews will reveal that it can be very beneficial for lighter skin tones and detrimental to darker skin tones! Sonderbeaut blog is also such a rich source of information on many aesthetic treatments I’ve encountered in my 6 years of aesthetics and 10 years of nursing.

How Does Sonderbeaut Work?

Sonderbeaut is very straightforward, purposefully. I didn’t want to complicate the search process but I wanted to make sure we covered many well-known treatments. In case there are some areas that do need more explaining, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to best use Sonderbeaut:

• First: Click the Login button at the top right corner

• Second: If creating a new account click on Sign Up at the bottom of the pop up page, if logging in simply enter your credentials on the login page.
  • If Signing up enter Username (cannot be changed once created), email, and password.

• Once account has been created or logged into, click on user icon at the top right corner and choose Personal Traits. Here you will fill out your specific aesthetic traits that make you YOU!

• After filling out the Personal Traits, head over to your Profile (under the same user icon). Here you will be able to edit some Account Details and Privacy Settings. Your Personal Traits also live here. You can look at the reviews you’ve Favorited, your Notifications and you can Log Out through this portal.

• But wait there’s more! Writing A Review is fun and simple! There’s so many aesthetic and wellness treatments to choose from so we made it easy by separating them into categories. Once you get to the review form, rate the treatment, and write your most authentic review so that your readers can get the most out of your truthful experience! If you added your personal traits beforehand, they will auto-populate here! Just confirm they are accurate and you’re good to go!

• Now, once you get to the bottom of the Review page, you can choose to upload pictures (which are always encouraged but not mandatory) and you also have the opportunity to add your review and pictures to the inspiration section of the homepage! The homepage Inspiration section shows snippets of hand-selected reviews and pictures that other users may be enticed to peak at! Again, encouraged but not mandatory. Checking off that you’d like the pictures/review shown on the Inspiration page does not guarantee they will be shown! They will go through a distinct selection process. You can also choose to remove the review from the inspiration page however they will not be able to be placed back on afterwards.

• Back to the Review Page. Once you’ve chosen whether you want your review shown on the inspiration page or not you can Submit your review or Save As Draft. If you Save As Draft, simply go to your profile and choose Draft Reviews to edit your draft and submit. After submitting the review, please allow time for the review to be assessed and populated on our site.
• On your profile, you’ll be able to see all your reviews under “My Reviews“.

• Once populated on our site, you’ll be able to see your review when searching under Browse Reviews!

What Makes Sonderbeaut Different From the Other Review Platforms?

Sonderbeaut’s sole purpose is to create a platform that thrives on sharing and communicating within the community. Though many of us have differences highlighted through our personal traits, our love for beauty and wellness unites us. Sonderbeaut does not sell any products or treatments being reviewed like other platforms tend to so users don’t have to worry about a conflict of interest. The purpose of Sonderbeaut is to save users money and educate. While advice found on our site should not trump professional advice, it is undeniable how powerful reviews from fellow community members are. When you add this to being able to filter reviews based on pertinent characteristics, the knowledge that we will be able to access will be unfathomable.

How Can I Contribute to and Get the Most Out of Sonderbeaut?

To contribute to and get the most out of Sonderbeaut:

1. Write A Review on any aesthetic or wellness treatment. We also have options to review skincare and wellness devices! If you can’t find your treatment, simply choose the “other” option and you can add the treatment name to the review! This will help us see what treatments we may be missing so we can continue to cover a wide range of procedures.
2. Share! For Sonderbeaut to work at it’s highest capacity, the more reviews the better! That means sharing Sonderbeaut with friends and family who will find value in it! This encourages more reviews which inevitably help out more and more people to make the best, educated decisions!
3. Follow us on social media and join our weekly newsletter! No spamming over here! Sonderbeaut usually posts a few times a week and usually topics about our blogs and highlighted reviews from the community!
